Participatory planning

Defined as "the process of public information, participation and debate on the appropriateness, on the design solutions of works", the public debate is a topic that, although not yet operational according to the terms of the law, is now at the centre of attention.

Following the issuance of the DPCM 76/2018, the theme of stakeholder and community involvement has found a first codification within the Public Debate.
Even before the issuance of the aforementioned decree, Iride, together with ENAC and Sacbo, managed the "Participatory process for the definition of the Airport Masterplan to 2030", an experience that can be considered one of the first concrete experiments of participation developed in the airport sector.

Moreover, Iride has been supporting the Proponents of planning and design initiatives for some time now in their discussions with stakeholders by means of various operational methods, ranging from the collection, cataloguing, analysis and response to the comments made to the organisation and management, also by means of the preparation of special informative and explanatory material, of meetings both with the competent bodies and with the territory concerned.
